Our Children’s Sunday School class was busy yesterday learning the books of the Bible and searching for answers to questions from the Bible. As a church family we want our youth to turn to the Word of God when they are looking for answers. These two worked hard diving into the Bible. We’d love to have your children join us for fun learning during the Sunday School hour!
It’s never too early to teach the love of God. In Proverbs 22:6 it says
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
It’s been said that it takes a village to raise children. And with the family and community surrounded by faith and fixed upon God it’s the best village you can find. In our Sunday school class, we explore God’s love through music and reading books and it is such a joy to see smiling faces while we fellowship with one another.
The Ruth Class is a group of ladies who strive to serve the LORD. We know that prayer works and sending a card lifts spirits.
Our recent study has been in the first eleven chapters of John’s gospel. We will continue in John through the spring studying chapters 12 through 21. John writes that the last months of Jesus’ ministry tell the complete story of the price paid for our salvation.
If you are a woman thinking about joining a Bible study, consider the Ruth Class. We start at 9:30 on Sunday mornings.
The CO-ED II class is a group of approximately 20 believers who are prayer warriors. We are connected by daily scripture and prayer concerns, both for our class and our church family. Love for each other is the best way to describe this class as we try to live out the command of our Lord Jesus Christ when he told us in John 10:27.
“You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and your strength and all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.”
Some examples of putting action to our faith are that all of us are active in MANY ministries throughout the church. We are active in our community during the year as we adopt a family during the Christmas season and we prepare/deliver meals to the sick and homebound as these needs come to our attention.
For our Bible studies on Sunday morning, we are currently in a course of study called “How to Discern the Voice of God” and we would love to have you come and check us out!!
